SLOVENIA IN AUTUMN

I visited Slovenia for the first time in January 2024 and immediately fell in love with the landscape. I then returned in the autumn of 2024, again in January 2025 and decided that I just had to go back. I can't get enough of txhe place!

For my October 2026 workshop, we'll be based in a hotel on the shore of Lake Bled, which makes the lake itself (quite probably the most beautiful location in Slovenia) easily accessible for our sunrise and sunset shoots there. Other key locations include Jasna Lakes for views of the Julian Alps - hopefully reflecting in the calm waters of the lake - Sava Springs, the Church of St Primus near Jamnik, the Church of St Thomas near Skofja Loka, Lake Bohinj, the Vrsic and Mangart Passes, the stunning Vintgar Gorge, Pericnik Waterfall and more.

We'll travel around in a spacious 9-seater people carrier, heading out before sunrise each morning and shooing until blue hour is over (weather permitting) with breaks for breakfast at the hotel and lunch out on the road.
