Lee has been scribbling about photography for more than 20 years and in that time has had literally hundreds of articles on the art and craft of photography published in the UK's biggest and best magazines (one doesn't always mean the other!).
Buoyed by this success, he even had a bash at writing for a women's magazine called Minx some years ago - you know, about relationships, sex and stuff. Sadly, the magazine didn't last (could have been due to poor choice of contributors) and he decided it was probably best to stick to a subject he had at least a vague idea about from then on.
It's fair to say that few writers on photography have been quite as prolific as Lee and as he hurtles uncontrollably into his third decade as an author (which makes him sound really old, even though he isn't), his head is still as full of ideas as it was on January 3rd 1989 when he turned up for his first day as Features Writer on SLR Photography magazine. Whether or not anyone will commission them remains to be seen.
These days you'll find his work mainly in Digital SLR Photography Magazine, Black & White Photography and Amateur Photographer, but if you search through your old photo mags in the attic you'll also see his name in the following publications, some long out of print, others still going strong - though obviously not as strong as if Lee was still writing for them.
